Having studied a BA (Hons) in Business Computing and German, and following an eighteen-month period working for Siemens Nixdorf in Germany, I worked as a Software Architect in the City of London. I started my career in teaching when my children were very young and worked as an ESOL teacher in both Guildford and Oxford before becoming a mainstream teacher then Headteacher in Oxfordshire. More latterly, I have worked as a Level 7 Programme Lead and Senior Leadership Tutor, developing and delivering professional development for Senior Leaders in the education and corporate sectors, mentoring and coaching them throughout their Level 7 and post-graduate studies. I am an extremely keen advocate of WomenEd and have supported women in education to progress to senior leadership and beyond. I hold a Level 7 Senior Leader Master's Degree Apprenticeship and a MSc in Education Leadership and Management. I am also a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
